Training Details:

The witness was a self represented litigant in a family law proceedings.  This witness was particularly nervous about giving evidence in the upcoming trial, particularly given the emotive and personal nature of the proceeding.  The witness contacted Loquitur directly in advance of her trial to get some understanding of the cross examination process, what to expect while being cross examined and how to best remain composed to deliver her evidence effectively.

Initially we provided our online self paced lay witness familiarisation training for the witness.  This was very well received and went some way to alleviating the witness’ concerns.

However the witness believed that some follow up intensive in person training would be valuable.  Accordingly, a one-hour intensive mock cross examination and feedback session was arranged with the witness in person at the Gold Coast, where she lives.
